Subject: What happened to P.E.R.S.O.N.?

Sorry for the "interruption in service."
I've been sick for the past three weeks and unreachable by email.
(six days in the hospital and a few weeks recovering)
I'm feeling a bit better now (enough to drag myself in to
work for a few hours, anyway), and hope to be checking my email
a bit more frequently. However, if you sent me anything
important during the last few weeks (subscribe/unsubscribe notices,
etc.) it's probably lying in the vast pile of 1000+ messages in my inbox, 
and I may not get to it very quickly. If you need something done right away, 
please resend your message to me (it might help to flag the subject 
with a "read this, Jean!" or something :-)

I'm not sure when I'll be able to resume sending out P.E.R.S.O.N.
mailings - right now I'm only back at work for partial days and
may not have the time & energy to do much P.E.R.S.O.N. work for
a while yet. Hopefully when I'm fully recovered things will get
back to normal. In the meantime, you can get some schools-related
info and news from the GLSEN web site (www.glsen.org) and from the
SCHOOLS mailing list (to subscribe, email majordomo@youth-guard.org 
with the message body:
subscribe schools
