The nation must know that GLBT youth are participating in this event! Stand for Children, held June 1, is a "national day of commitment for children," convened by the Children's Defense Fund. The event will bring together thousands of youth, parents, and children's advocates for a full day of activities on the National Mall in Washington, DC. GLBT youth, their families and allies will be meeting in the lobby of PFLAG's office at 1101 14th Street, NW (14th and L Streets, near the McPherson Metro stop) at 8:00am on Saturday, June 1st. The group will then head down to the Mall together.
