Peggy Gillespie ================ ================ [folks, this is a GREAT way to get some good LGBT books into your local school and public libraries!!] Date: Tue, 26 Nov 1996 17:04:36 -0700 From: WildcatPrs@aol.com Subject: Book Donations from Patricia Nell Warren BREAKING NEWS FROM WILDCAT PRESS... As you may know, the U.S. book industry is experiencing a huge "adjustment" and a spike in returns...30 or 40 percent from chain stores. Like other publishers, Wildcat Press is getting returns. With so many books churning through, warehouses aren't careful about how they pack boxes. As a result, numbers of copies are slightly dinged, enough to preclude sale, but otherwise in good condition. Wildcat Press is offering to donate these books to library collections, glbt archives, college courses, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, etc. Available are classic titles by Patricia Nell Warren, namely: hardcovers of The Front Runner and Harlan's Race; quality tradebacks of TFR, HR, The Fancy Dancer and The Beauty Queen. Since we're eating it on these books, we hope that interested parties are willing to help with postage. Interested U.S. or overseas entities may send a written request for the number of copies you'd like, to: Jacqueline Londe Sales Manager Wildcat Press 8306 Wilshire Blvd. Box 8306 Beverly Hills, CA 90211 For U.S. postage and handling, please enclose a check for $4. For overseas postage and handling, an international money order for US$15. If you have questions, you can call me at 213/966-2466. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
