Blumenfeld and Laurie Lindop for the Massachusetts Department of Education, Safe Schools Program for Gay & Lesbian Students, is now available. This 71-page publication is for students and student organizations to help them plan support groups for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, heterosexual, and questioning students. The guide focuses on how to start and maintain these group. "School-based support groups can provide students with a place to meet and talk about issues related to sexual orientation. These groups can help to change the climate of a school and make it safer for all students."
