The LIFE lobby has organized this day to support assembly member Kuehl's proposed bill which will add "sexual orientation" to the list of protected categories in the State Education Code. It is vital that our State government SEE the people who will be impacted most by this bill: the youth in our California schools.. queer and straight. Please come out and show your support. Buses leave from LYRIC at: 7:15am Wednesday, Jan. 3 return: approx. 8pm LOCATION: Lavendar Youth Recreation and Information Center (LYRIC) 127 Collingwood, San Francisco CA 94114. Youth under 18 must provide permission slips (forms available at LYRIC) -bring a lunch (or money .. approx. $5) There is limited space on the bus so you _must_ call the LYRIC Youth Talkline to reserve your space at: 415.863.3636 and outside of SF, in the Bay area at 1.800.246.PRIDE. If you can't make the bus or you won't fit.. hey.. make this a field trip and take the whole class up there for a day of participating in our governmental process!!!!
