Effective January 1, 1994 same-sex domestic partners of Harvard faculty and staff members can elect family medical/dental coverage. Domestic Partner Benefits " As announced last spring, the University is offering medical and dental benefit coverage to same-sex domestic partners of eligible Harvard Faculty and staff members. Current faculty and staff can elect family medical/dental coverage for themselves and their domestic partners during this November's open enrollment period, with the benefits effective January 1, 1994.
