Date: Mon, 11 Oct 1999 14:43:59 -0500 From: Land of Awes Subject: Matthew Shepard article on CNN CNN has an article about the jury selection process for the murder trial of Aaron McKinney, the second of two men accused of brutally killing Matthew Shepard. It can be found at http://cnn.com/US/9910/11/shepard.01/ on the world wide web of the internet. At the top of the article is a picture of Matthew Shepard with a red ribbon superimposed at the top. Isn't that the symbol of AIDS awareness? What does it have to do with Mr. Shepard? Are they implying that every gay person has AIDS? Perhaps since the article was about the trial of Aaron McKinney, CNN was trying to say that >HE< has AIDS. Electronic Gay Community Magazine http://www.awes.com/egcm/
