MILE-LONG RAINBOW FLAG TO RAISE OVER $500,000 FOR AIDS
 
The Stadtlanders Foundation has announced the launch of "Raise the
Rainbow", a project which will create the world's largest rainbow
flag, symbol of the gay and lesbian freedom movement, to raise more
than $500,000 for AIDS charities nationwide.
 
The mile-long by 30-foot wide rainbow flag will be unfurled only one
time.  Its first and only appearance will take place in New York City
on June 26, 1994 during the Stonewall 25 International March on the
United Nations to Affirm the Human Rights of Gay and Lesbian People.
More than 10,000 individuals are expected to help carry the flag up
Fifth Avenue.
 
You can be more than just a spectator, you can be a part of history.
 
There is still time to register.  Those who wish to support "Raise the
Rainbow" and carry the flag in the Stonewall 25 march are asked to
register with a tax deductible contribution of $50 or more to The
Stadtlanders Foundation.  The first 10,000 people to register for the
event will receive a commemorative strip of the one-of-a-kind flag
following its historic appearance at the June 26 event.

Stadtlanders Pharmacy, a nationwide supplier of medications for
chronically ill patients.  One hundred percent of marchers'
contributions to The Stadtlanders Foundation will be distributed to
AIDS service organizations nationwide.
